Become a BoMF Member in New York City!

Thank you for your interest in becoming a Non-Residential (volunteer) Member of Back on My Feet! Our organization isn’t possible without amazing people like yourself and we’re excited to get you involved with one of our incredible teams. You will have the awesome experience of being a part of BoMF from the start in New York City and will play an important part of building a strong community here.

All new members interested in running are required to attend an orientation prior to taking part in a morning run. Please note that we have recieved many inquires about getting involved with BoMF NYC, so we recommend that you sign up as soon as possible by filling out the form below. Orientations will be held at our running store partner, Jack Rabbit Sports and will last one hour. Please note that orientations are at different stores and those locations are listed below next to each date.

What to expect at orientation

Orientations are filled on a first come, first served basis and you will receive an email reminder 24 hours prior to your orientation. In the event that an orientation is filled it will be noted and there will be alternate opportunities listed to get involved. If you are bringing a friend to orientation - that's great! However, please make sure you that you both sign up individually in order to guarantee a spot and so that we can plan.

At orientation, we will cover the goals of the program and the different ways you can be a part of a team. All volunteers need to be able to commit to, at least, running one morning per week.

On each team we have a "core team" of volunteers who help with daily mileage tracking, attendance and coaching. If you are interested in a "core role" of Team Leader, Organizer, Social Director or Coach, please indicate that in the boxes below when you sign up or click here for more information. We're excited to get you involved with Back on My Feet NYC and thanks again for your support!

Additional Ways to Support BoMF NYC Residential Members

We also hope that you’ll consider supporting a Residential Member by purchasing a RunGiveRun t-shirt or by becoming a part of our Non-Residential Membership Program.

RunGiveRun t-shirts can be purchased at all Jack Rabbit locations and will be available at each orientation. For purchasing this $40 Brooks performance t-shirt for yourself, you will also be buying a pair of sneakers for one of our residential members, helping to make one more new start possible.

Membership Program levels are $75 for the Half Marathon Membership and $250 for the Marathon Membership. In addition to the many benefits to you, both memberships also buy a new pair of running shoes for a new Back on My Feet Residential Member.  Find out more about our Membership Program today!
